Resources Collection

The Resources Collection lets you host and share PDFs on your website. It is a database of all the PDFs you need hosted online.

To access the Resource Collection:

  1. Click the Collections tab at the top of your Websites app.
  2. Select Resources.

Upload a PDF

To add a new PDF:

  1. Select the + Add New Resources button.
  2. In the pop-up window that appears, drag a PDF into the upload area, or click on the "cloud" icon to open your device's file manager. Click Close when finished.

Rename a PDF

To change the title of a PDF:

  1. Click on the name of the file in your Resources Collection.
  2. In the pop-up window that appears, you can edit the Title and Filename. Click Save when finished.

Each PDF that you upload will generate its own unique URL link. You can link to your PDF on text hyperlinks and image links on your site. To find a PDF's link:

  1. Click the overflow menu on the right-hand side of the PDF.
  2. Select Copy Link from the menu that appears.

Add a PDF to a page

You can display or upload PDFs directly on a webpage by adding a Resources content block. The Resources block lets visitors download the PDF from your website via a hyperlink.

To add a Resources block:

  1. Navigate to the Pages tab at the top of the page, then click on the page where you want your Resources block to appear.
  2. Click one of the (+) buttons between content blocks, then select Resources from the menu that appears.

  3. To pull in PDFs you've already uploaded to your Resources Collection, click the Pick From Library button to pick which PDFs to display. Otherwise, you can upload a new PDF by clicking Select From Computer or dragging-and-dropping the file into the upload area.

You can also toggle the Dynamic Resources Selection to pull in all PDFs in your Resources Collection. You can sort or filter the PDFs by tags.

The PDFs will appear as hyperlinks on the page. Users can click on the link to open the full PDF in a new tab. From there, they can also download the PDF to their device.
