Add New Pages to Your Website

You can add and manage pages on your website on the Pages dashboard. 

 

Create a new page

To add a new page:

  1. Select the Pages tab at the top of the Websites app.
  2. Click the + Add A Page button at the top of the page.
  3. Check the box next to the type of page(s) you'd like to add. Click Add to confirm the selection. Note: If you are unsure what type of page to select, you can select Generic.

 

Page types

Each page type comes pre-built with Content Blocks. Every page will have a Page Title block, but each page type will be pre-loaded with different content blocks. Some of these blocks can be used across all page types (such as Text, Image, or HTML blocks), while some block types are unique to specific page types.

Below is a list of all available page types, and which content blocks are pre-loaded on the page types:

About Us

Includes an image block.
Blog Includes a Blog block where you can add blog posts.
Careers Includes a Jobs block where you can add job listings.
Case studies Includes a Case studies block, where you can add individual case studies about clients.
Clients Includes a Clients block where you can list information about clients in a gallery or grid format.
Contact Includes a Contact block (for your phone, fax, and email address) and Address block that includes an option to display a map.
Events Includes an Event block to list events.
FAQ Includes a FAQ block where can list frequently asked questions in a question/answer format (which can be collapsible, if preferred).
Gallery Includes an Image gallery block.
Generic The most base-level page type. Includes an Image and Items block.
Menu For displaying restaurant menus. The Menu block lets you add items and their prices, divided by categories.
Navigation item The only page type that has no content blocks. A Navigation item appears in your site's navigation menu, and can function as a link, a button, or plain text used to anchor a dropdown menu.
Portfolio Includes a Projects block, where you can add individual projects in a gallery or grid format.
Press releases Includes a Press release block, where you can add press releases.
Products For businesses that sell products. The Products block lets you add items and their prices, divided by categories.
Registration Includes a Form block and a Email capture block, which can connect to third-party apps connected in your site's Apps Settings.
Resources For displaying PDFs from your Resources Collection. Includes a Resources block to display PDFs.
Services Includes a Services block, which lets you add items and their prices, divided by categories.
Social Includes a social feed block, which can connect to third-party apps connected in your site's Apps Settings.
Team Includes a Team members block, where you can add individual team members or employees in a list, gallery, or grid format.
Testimonials Includes a Testimonials block, where you can add individual testimonials in a list, gallery, or grid format.
