If you are looking to add a restaurant or bar menu to your website, you have a few options.
You can isolate a menu to its own specific page. Creating a menu on a separate page, you can further capitalize on search engine optimization (SEO) to help drive organic traffic to your website.
To create separate menu categories (such as "Lunch", "Dinner", "Drinks", etc.), you can create separate Menu items content blocks. To do this:
You may wish to upload your menu as a PDF. By creating your menu in a PDF, you have greater control over the design of the menu, since you would create it outside of the Websites 360® platform. A PDF menu is also beneficial if you use QR codes, so that users on mobile devices can easily scroll and zoom on the menu.
Here is how you can add a PDF to your page. This is the best option if you would like a more elaborately-styled menu. You can make menu changes in a separate document that you can easily upload to your website.
Please note: if you are using a third-party accessibility widget, it does not cover any PDFs that you upload. You may need to take extra steps to ensure that your PDFs are ADA compliant.
If you would like to use a third-party platform to build your restaurant menu, you can embed it on a page on your website using an HTML block. You would build the menu in the third-party platform of your choice. Then, you can copy its embed code and paste it into an HTML block.
